Can’t pick an iPhone
It's that time of year again. The time of year where after delaying upgrading my phone because "I don't need it" I completely reverse course and want something new because I'm bored. I really can't decide between a 14 Plus and 14 Pro. One part of me wants the pretty big red one but another part of me wants the shiny silver one and that's why my life is a tragedy.
No but really, why do I bother? My 12 Pro works just fine as is. It's in a color I like and isn't slow or unusable in any way. Maybe a bigger screen would be nice but it's unnecessary. Maybe satellite services would be cool but I spend 99.9% of my time in cities.
I've also deleted TikTok and the Facebook app from my phone and have seen my screen time drop significantly which feels like a good thing. Makes justifying dropping big cash on a new phone (and I can only buy outright and unlocked because of my multi-network situation) even harder to do.
At the same time, I usually hand down my phones to my mom and grandfather and was planning on doing that for Christmas this year. We'll see what happens.
